Our Chairperson from UMC is Gracanne Smith – and she has several very dedicated volunteers from the church who do a wonderful job recruiting and promoting the blood drive, making and serving food during the blood drive, and taking special care of everyone who attends!
WE also partner in Union City with the Union City High School – NHS Advisor: Mr. Bain – participates in the Scholarship Program (info attached) – National Honor Society students ARE FANTASTIC in Union City and work hard to make their blood drive experience a positive one!!
Their upcoming blood drive is OPEN to the community – Community Donors needed during school lunch periods – between 10:30am – 1:00pm – and are given priority to move through donation time.
If anyone missed the 2/22/10 United Methodist Church blood drive and would like to donate – next Union City blood drive will be:
Wednesday, March 17, 2010 – Union City High School – 8am-2pm – appointments can be made through Mr. Bain at the HS or on-line atwww.RedCrossBlood.org
The goal at the high school will be to collect 68 units of whole blood.
