The American Legion is "Still Serving America."
The American Legion consists of veterans who continue their service to America by direct involvement in their community. The American Legion Post 196 in Union City currently has 23 members. Meeting the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7 PM in the basement at the UC Fire Hall, they welcome new members.
To be eligible for membership, you must have served at least one day of active military duty during the dates marked below and was honorably discharged or be still serving honorably.

➳Merchant Marines 12/7/41- 8/15/45 (only eligibility)
